About
From its Berlin headquarters, PMG markets content and rights from around 900 publishers and more than 4000 print and online sources to over 5000 customers, including companies, associations, public institutions, media monitoring services, and PR agencies, enabling reliable access to structured, licensed media content and powerful insights for communication, research, and evaluation.
Mission & Vision
The PMG Press Database is the central marketplace where content providers meet the information needs of various interest groups such as PR professionals, media monitoring organizations (MMOs) and teachers – digitally, legally compliant, and transparent. They convert, enhance, distribute, and market high-quality journalistic content from their content partners digitally, including the associated usage rights. In this way, we generate additional revenues for publishers and media companies.
"Our cooperation enables us to create a centralised and higher-quality data standard for the publishing industry, one which is suitable for all future formats. We can offer publishers a fast and cost-effective data conversion and archiving solution that delivers maximum quality and ensures legally compliant use of the content. The new data standard enables format-independent distribution of content in its original layout, which will open up new marketing channels for publishers.”
Ingo Kästner, CEO of PMG Presse-Monitor
