Mission & Vision
TCE is all about ‘creating more value for great stories’. Quality journalism requires expertise, time, and money, making it the most valuable but also the most expensive component of the media industry. By working together, newsrooms can operate efficiently saving cost, good stories reach new audiences and will drive engagement, the creators of stories get a fair price for their work. Publishers, editors, and readers all benefit from this.
"Combine your storytelling with the best stories from around the world"
Joris van Lierop – Founder TCE
X-CAGO Partnership with TCE
TCE facilitates the match between supply and demand for content between quality media parties. These can be large publishers such as Newsweek, The Guardian, L’Équipe, and Ippen, or specialized smaller publishers like the European Correspondent, Trivela, or GreenMe.
In total, TCE represent 400 sources and have thousands of new articles available daily on every conceivable topic. Articles are classified based on the IPTC standard and are automatically translated into English, making them accessible worldwide. TCE make clear agreements with participating publishers, buyers, and sellers regarding price, terms, and rights. This creates a highly transparent and scalable syndication marketplace where every editorial team can find and offer inspiring stories daily. Stories can be purchased based on a ‘one-off’ transaction, a subscription, or realized performance.
